Elite Landscaping Selected for Two International Design Awards
Omaha, NE - Elite Landscaping's custom pool and patio designs won two International Awards of Excellence from the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA).
2020 Gold Award Winner, Natural Material | PHTA International Awards of Excellence
Inspired by the Rocky Mountains, this free-form backyard pool and waterfall design features all-natural stone hardscaping materials and an elegant stone grotto. Highlights of this outdoor design and pool installation include: a swim-up bar, custom waterfall, specialty black-plaster floor, and a stand-alone hot tub that offers year-round enjoyment. A custom pool house also features an outdoor kitchen complete with granite countertops, refrigerator and plenty of space for dining and entertaining.
2020 Silver Award Winner, Pool Renovations | PHTA International Awards of Excellence
Design expertise and modern engineering transformed this client's landscape into a fresh, award-winning masterpiece. Highlights of this outdoor living space and pool renovation include: Repaving the entire pool deck with travertine. Adding a 13-person year-round spa. Building a pool house with 20’ open cedar-beam ceilings over the men’s and women's changing rooms. Expanding and reinforcing an outdoor deck, finishing the under-deck ceiling and building a full-service, outdoor bar beneath it. Additionally, the Elite team designed a multi-level patio with sunken fire pit, flanked by natural boulders and flagstone paths. The pièce de résistance, however, is the custom-concrete waterfall and grotto, with natural interior skylights and customized water features.
About the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA)
The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) was formed in 2019, combining the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) and the National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF). With the mission to “Celebrate the Water,” PHTA facilitates the expansion of swimming, water safety and related research and outreach activities aimed at introducing more people to swimming, making swimming environments safer and keeping pools open to serve communities.
